Our Mission
At MedYouthUnited, we are dedicated to influencing young students to take part in scientific research, and develop primitive writing skills to inspire the next generation of S.T.E.M. writers and researchers. Throughout the World, it is very evident the focus is rapidly shifting from writing to other methods of writing. The current Ban of Books in the US and rise of AI make it evident that English is becoming less focused on. the National Assessment of Educational Progress agrees, reporting three-quarters of both 12th and 8th graders lack proficiency in writing, more evident in low income areas. At MedYouthUnited, we go against these norms- promoting research and creative writing as gateways to success.
Why Research? And Why Youth Targeted?
In our current day and age, writing is becoming less appreciated throughout our youth. Many teenagers and children turn to Chat-GPT or other AI writing sources, and neglect creating true works of literature with ones own mind. At MedYouthUnited, we hope to inspire a young child who might be interested in either S.T.E.M or Journalism, and give them a platform to display their work, while gaining valuable experiences.
